Vets

  • David Preece BVSc MRCVS

    Director

    Originally from Bristol, David qualified from Liverpool Vet School in 1991 and worked in mixed Practice in North Wales and Staffordshire before coming to Gloucestershire in 1996. He then teamed up with Nick to found Tyndale Vets in 1998. David has an interest in all aspects of production animal medicine as well as enjoying the business side of food production. Outside of work, he keeps himself busy with his 3 children and his dog, Hector.

  • Nick Eames BVSc MRCVS

    Director

    Qualified from Massey Vet School, New Zealand in 1988 and set up Tyndale Farm Veterinary Practice with David. Nick worked in various locations around the UK before settling in Gloucestershire. He enjoys all aspects of his work in farm animal practice.

  • Russell Fuller MA VetMB MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Russell qualified from Cambridge Vet School in 2003 and joined Tyndale in 2008 after working in a busy mixed practice in mid – Wales. Russell has a particular interest in nutrition and cattle reproduction. He is currently studying for a Diploma in Bovine Reproduction.

  • Bryony Kendall BSc (An Sci) BVSc MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Qualified from Liverpool Vet School in 2008, Bryony arrived at Tyndale in 2009 after working in Cheshire at the University of Liverpool Farm Practice. She enjoys all aspects of being a farm vet but especially small ruminant work – sheep and dairy goats. Following a brief stint in New Zealand in 2014-15 she has also developed an interest in grass-based dairy farming.

  • Manuel Sisniega MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Originally from Santander in Spain, Manuel qualified in 1994 from Madrid Complutense Vet School. Manuel has lived in the UK for a number of years working as a TB tester for DEFRA and as an Official Veterinarian in different abattoirs around the UK. He joined the practice in September 2010 and is a full time TB tester with Tyndale.

  • Sian Fuller BVSc MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Sian joined the practice in January 2014 having worked in mixed practice in mid Wales and Gloucestershire. Her family run a beef and sheep farm in Wales and she is married to Russell who is also a vet at Tyndale. Sian is currently studying for a Certificate in Sheep Health and Production.

  • Charlotte Debbaut MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Originally from Belgium, Charlotte qualified from the University of Ghent in 2012. She moved over to the UK soon after and started work in a mixed practice in north Wales, where her days were filled with mainly beef and sheep work. In July 2014 a growing interest in dairy cattle drew her to Tyndale vets. Charlotte is interested in infectious diseases and mastitis, but mainly enjoys the variety of working with all farm species.

  • Sam Ecroyd BVM BVS BVMedSci (hons) MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Sam graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2014 and joined Tyndale Vets soon after. Sam has a keen interest in all aspects of cattle medicine.

  • Fergus Hannon MVB MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Fergus graduated from University College Dublin in 2013 and went on to work as a Farm Animal Intern at Glasgow University for twelve months. He joined Tyndale Vets in 2014 and has a keen interest in Dairy herd health, youngstock health and disease prevention. Fergus is currently studying for a certificate in Cattle Health and Production.

  • Martijn 't Hoen MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Martijn is a Dutch vet who did his veterinary training in Belgium. After working at home for a year he moved to a practice in North Wales where he worked for 2 years as a large animal vet. Martijn moved to Tyndale Vets in 2014 to pursue his interest in dairy work. He is currently working towards a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice where he hopes to combine his various interests that range from all things cow as well as, sheep, goats, deer and camelids. In his spare time he enjoys nature, deer stalking and gardening.

  • Josh Batterham

    Veterinary Surgeon

    After graduating from Bristol University in 2013, I worked for 2 years in Pembrokeshire doing all aspects of farm work with a predominantly dairy focus. I then travelled around New Zealand for a year with my fiancée, working in North Island for 8 months. Having seen practice with Tyndale as a student I was keen to return as vet. We are living just west of Cardiff and catering for the farms over this side of the practice whilst keeping in close contact with all the vets and practice in Dursley.

  • Steve Hookway

    Cattle Foot Trimmer

    After 20 years as a herdsman, Steve joined Tyndale in the summer of 2011. Steve qualified as a fully licenced category 1 foot trimmer in 2012 and attends check days with the NACFT. Away from work Steve has a keen interest in Pedigree Charolais cattle and is both a judge and breeder on the family farm.

  • Vlad Neclulcea

    TB Tester

    I’m Vlad Neculcea. I’m from Romania and I am a TB tester at Tyndale. I graduated in Iasi, Romania in 2012. I’ve been practicing as a vet in my home country for 2 and a half years working with farm animals and pets as well. I’m interested in developing myself in all aspects of farm animal practice.

    Tina successfully passed AMTRA examinations in Base and Farm Animal modules in 2011 to become a suitably qualified person within the practice.

    Jane joined Tyndale Vets in 2014. She is head of our support staff at our Vale Of Glamorgan branch and is training to become a SQP.
