Join Tyndale Vets’ Tuberculosis Testing Team!
We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional individual to permanently join our team as an Approved Tuberculin Tester (ATT).
No qualification for TB testing is required as full training will be given, however we are also accepting applicants from those with an ATT qualification.
About Us:
Based in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside, near Berkley, Tyndale Vets is home to a lively and supportive team of 35. We pride ourselves on practical, forward-thinking vet work, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, initiative and a sense of humour. We are more than just a vet practice, we are a passionate team dedicated to providing high quality care to help our clients achieve their potential. We're growing, we’re busy, and we genuinely love what we do.
The Role:
Do you love working with farmers and cattle and spending your time outdoors? Are you self-motivated, resilient, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We’ve got the perfect opportunity for you!
Your responsibilities will include:
Use your large animal experience, on farm with our clients, delivering TB testing in cattle.
Driving around the countryside while working independently.
Complete administrative tasks promptly and obtain timely approval from your supervisor to ensure clients receive their paperwork as quickly as possible.
Working as a team, ensuring you support your fellow ATTs with any issues and ensure a fair caseload.
You will be working:
4 days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with Wednesdays off and no weekend working.
Start and finish times will vary each week based on the rota. Whilst some days may be longer and some may be shorter, you’ll work an average of 32 hours per week.
Flexibility is key, as occasional early starts and long days may be required. Whilst we are generally able to give good notice on hours, there are occasional last-minute changes.
What We Are Looking For:
Someone who’s over 18, confident working with animals and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.
A great communicator who’s flexible, detail-oriented, with a positive attitude.
You’ll have experience with animals, or perhaps you’ve studied agriculture. Plus, you’ll need three GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science.
A full driver’s license and a good sense of direction are a must!
We’re after the right attitude, and we’ll provide all the training you need.
What You’ll Get:
A competitive salary, enhanced parental leave, sick pay and holiday allowance.
Full training and support from a brilliant team.
Staff discounts and a health perks scheme.
The chance to work in a genuinely supportive environment where you’ll be valued and involved.
Interested? We welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If you think you’d be a good fit, we’d love to hear from you!
