Looking for a role where no two days are the same? We’re on the hunt for a brilliant multitasker to join our fast-paced but friendly farm veterinary practice as a part-time receptionist.

Based in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside, near Berkley, Tyndale Vets is home to a lively and supportive team of 35. The role:

Are you a master of multitasking and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Join our dynamic team! As our Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll play a pivotal role in organising our veterinary team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering phone calls and responding to client enquiries

  • Booking appointments and managing the diary

  • Maintaining accurate client and patient records

  • Processing medicine orders and managing stock

  • Responding to emails and handling general admin

  • Cleaning and prepping PPE and equipment

  • Organising and logging lab samples

You will be working every Wednesday and Friday, 8.15am-5.45pm (with a 30 minute unpaid break), plus 1:7 Saturday mornings (8.00am-12.45pm) - with time off in lieu for any Saturday shifts.

There may be the option to increase to three days a week in the Winter/Spring months, and extra hours to cover holidays if you’re up for it. There is also the opportunity for other responsibilities for the right candidate.

What we are looking for:

  • A confident communicator who thrives under pressure

  • Someone with excellent attention to detail

  • Great customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner

  • Experience in admin or reception work, ideally with Outlook, Excel, and other office software

  • Veterinary or medical setting experience, and/or a background in agriculture, would be a big plus, but not essential

We’re after the right attitude, and we’ll provide all the training you need.
