The role:
Are you a master of multitasking and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Join our dynamic team! As a Farm Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll play a pivotal role in organising our veterinary team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Answering phone calls and responding to client enquiries
Booking appointments and managing the diary
Maintaining accurate client and patient records
Processing medicine orders and managing stock
Responding to emails and handling general admin
Ensuring tasks are completed by the team
Cleaning and prepping PPE and equipment
Organising and logging lab samples
There is also the opportunity for other responsibilities for the right candidate.
You will be working 4 days per week, Monday-Friday, 8.15am-5.45pm (with a 30 minute unpaid break). You will also work one Saturday morning in seven (8:00am–12:45pm), with time off in lieu provided.
There is also the option to pick up additional hours to cover holidays if you’re up for it!
What we are looking for:
A confident communicator who is able to hold the team to account
Someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys a busy environment
Excellent attention to detail
Great customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner
Solid experience in admin or reception work
Confident use of Microsoft programmes such as Outlook and Excel, and other office software
Veterinary or medical setting experience, and/or a background in agriculture, would be a big plus, but not essential
We’re after the right attitude, and we’ll provide all the training you need.
