Learn about the stages of calf rearing from birth to weaning with a view to improve calf health and productivity. There will be a focus on the economics of rearing bull calves with respect to the new GB dairy calf strategy 2020-23. The importance of colostrum, calf nutrition, hygiene and management systems will be discussed to demonstrate efficient calf rearing and growth.
