Kit Heawood.

Kit graduated from Nottingham University in 2014, joined the team at Tyndale in 2018 and became a director of Tyndale Vets in 2023. Kit’s particularly clinical focus is cervidae, working with farmed deer, parkland deer, wild deer and zoo collections. He is also part of the advanced breeding team, focussed on conservation aspects of advanced breeding, cryopreservation, andrology and the artificial breeding of deer. Kit is junior vice president of the British Deer Veterinary Association, Honorary Veterinary Advisor to the British Deer Society and teaches the veterinary care of deer both to veterinary colleagues and undergraduate veterinary students at various universities.
